Dancing Shoes

Max got out his dancing shoes this evening. Up to this point he hasn't had much interest in music or dancing to it. That all changed tonight when he watched Blues Clues (one of my favs!), he would start to rock and move his hands evertime they would sing. So I got out his Toddler Tunes CD, that was given to him as a gift. He loved it and danced to it for about a half hour. I got some of it on film, but as it usually works, he didn't do it as much once the camera was rolling.... but it is still cute.

Yesterday we had our frist speech therapy, he did really well, and she gave us lots to work on. Today was not so good. He had his first physical therapy, and didn't at all like how she made him work those muscles! He didn't do anything she wanted him to do. His ankle is tight, so she showed me some streaches to do with him everyday, he HATED them. So, that will be fun. We also found out he will need a brace for his right lower leg/foot, which we thought he would. After all that, we came home, and he was in a foul mood. We went to the potty, and he needed his diaper changed, but NO, he didn't want a new diaper on, and went into a huge fit. Kicking and doing everything to make me not be able to get that diaper on. I finally did, but then I let Alan take over, so I could go chill! He was good once he got his nap in, and for the rest of the day. Days like this though, they are hard work!!!! Luckly they are few and far between. And when they do suck like today, Max usally does something really cute like the dancing to make the bad day end on a good note.
