Pool Party!

Yesterday we, as in Me, Lou Ellen (Wes's and Ellie's Mom) and Teresa (Carson's Mom) FINALLY got our kids together!! We have been trying all summer long. We meet at our house, and had a bit of a pool party/cookout. We started the afternoon off with a dip in our pool. All the kids really enjoyed the water, as well as all the Mom's and Dad's. Once dinner time rolled around, we had a large spread of great food. Hamburgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob, pasta salad, fruit, and lots of desserts! The next couple of hours were spent chatting, and letting the kids run, and run, and run off some of that sugar!!!! It is amazing how people you have only meet "in person" once or twice, can seem like the oldest of friends. We all have a bond with adoption, and adopting our boys. I can't wait to get them all together again, and to watch them grow up together.
