Ricebox, train, Potty and the Balloon.

Yes today we have a very random assortment of things. First we have the Rice Box, which is kinda like a sand box, but with rice, and with a kid pool, and inside. We got this idea from Max's therapy. He played with one the first time Tuesday, and really loved it, so we went to SAMS club, bought two fifty pound bags of rice (for REALLY CHEAP!) put them in his kid pool, and there you go!

We have a extra room upstairs that we have made into the "catch all" room, it has Max's therapy toys (blocks, rice box, things that require two hands) Alan's Library, my Scrapbooking stuff (which I haven't touched for five months!). Its a really nice room. We have music, and a nice comfy chair. We spend lots of time playing up there. Here is Max playing with his train, he likes them a lot!!

Now, on the "Potty and the Balloon" ...... Tonight we went to Red Robin, and Max got a balloon. He LOVED it, was kissing it, and banging it off his head, and played with it all the way home. When we got home, he said he had to go potty, but didn't want to let go of the balloon, so you KNOW I had to get a shot of this boy sitting on the potty holding a balloon, he was more than happy to say "CHEESE" and show off his balloon.....

Now.... about two seconds after I took this CHEESE picture, Max of course let go of his balloon. The balloon hit the ceiling, and POP... it was gone. Max was speechless. He just looked up, and couldn't understand where his balloon went. It was sad, but SO VERY FUNNY!!! Here was the reaction.

Oh... boy. Then we read "Goodnight Moon" for bed, and those of you who have read this book (Max LOVES it and wants it every night) know there is a red balloon in it. Max kept saying balloon (well his attempt at balloon) and looking up. Next time remind me to tie it to his arm!

Oh, balloons. They are great as long as they don't get caught in the ceiling fans or get popped when you close the car door, etc. Then, you have a real crisis. I just love it when the girls both get balloons and they hold them in the back seat of my little VW bug! Like there's any room for balloons with two full size car seats back there!!! Needless to say, I can't see anything out of the back or side windows. LOL
