Day at the Museum!

Today we went to the Museum with Carson and Teresa! We had tons of fun!

We started off the day with breakfast at McDonalds. Then I loaded up the car seat in her car, and we were on are way. Here are the boys cheesing it up in the back:

We spent the day playing in the Children's Museum. They had some really neat stuff to play with. There was a little city, with a restaurant. The boys wanted this cash register to work so bad, but it didn't, they had to settle with serving us drinks.

They spent a great deal of time at the bull dozer part, Max was happy to just sit in this thing, and move the wheel, you think he would have died and went to heaven! Carson enjoyed making the rocks dump out. I tried to get a picture of the both of them with orange vests, scooping rocks, but Carson just moves to fast!

They then moved on to the tools... they didn't stay there very long though.

They did however spend a very long time here, in the water area. They both really enjoyed this, and would have stayed all day long if we let them! Max got soaked. They had little boats, and buckets, all sorts of things for the children to play with. Max did not want to leave there, and had a little fit when it was time to move on. Carson used the right phrase and called him a "cry baby!" Thats right Carson, Max was having a cry baby moment. Once we got them dried off with the hand dryers, he was in a better mood though.

We then headed off to the sand box (great fun, when your wet!) The boys enjoyed that as well. After that we were finished, Max was getting a little cranky (past lunch time!) so we headed to Big Boy! The boys really started to warm up to each other, and held hands to walk in, let each other play with the others toy, and even gave each other a bit of a hug/tackle! Lunch was good, they both ate well. When we finished and were walking out Carson did the cutest thing, and asked some people at another table, if they were "All done!" they were really nice, and said yes, and asked Carson what his name was. Really cute! Then we tried to get the boys to pose with Big Boy.... this was the best I got, they both don't sit well for pictures! They were so cute holding each others hands, especially because they both have things wrong with there hands, so it was cute to see them trying really hard to keep a grip of the other boys hand.

Well, all and all that was a fun day! I really look forward to doing it again!! Thanks Teresa for inviting us, and thanks Carson for being such a good boy all day! I can't wait to see these boys grow up together!
