Week two with Max

And he is doing great. He can be so much fun. He has the best laugh, and can be quite funny. I know people say this all the time, but its true, it feels like he has always been here. He has settled in so well. Don't get me wrong, he sure can throw a tantrum, especially when mean mommie won't pick him up exactly when he wants to be picked up, or when he is told "no no" for picking up the remote.

The past two days we have skipped naps in hope of him sleeping thru the night, it has worked really well. He was a great boy yesterday, only got fussy a little, and slept from about 7:30pm to 5:30am, with out waking up at all that we know of. Today he was a bit more fussy, with a bit of a short fuse, but NOTHING compared to if you wake him from his nap, and is now asleep at 8pm. We are thinking of skipping naps all together, not sure if it is healty for a two year old not to have a nap, but it seems when he takes a nap he never wants to wake up, he has only woken up on his own from a nap once or twice. Other than that, we have woken him after two or two and half hours of sleeping, which is followed by a hour of screaming, then a cranky boy the rest of the night.

We also went to the doctor today for a quick check, and he was wonderful. He even opened his mouth when the Dr. asked. The Dr. is going to get us an apt. at Childrens Hospital in Dayton to find out about physical therapy for him. Over all he was very happy with is right side, felt he had great movement, just lacked muscle. He is just over three feet tall, and weighs 26lbs. Which is 50% on american charts for hight, and 25% for weight. Give us a few months and we will get some meat on him!

OK, so anyway, here is a video from today, it is a bit long at around two mins, but it is of Max playing with bottle caps. He must have played with these for a half hour. He loved putting them in a row, all fliped the right way, and after only showing him once or twice he fiqured out how to fling them. He giggled SO much during this. You also get to hear some of his "talking" which is likes of OHHHHS, and OOOOPPPPSS!!! He does these noises ALL DAY, when ever anyone drops something, or something cool happens, or if something comes into view, ETC ETC ETC. So enjoy my handsom man being cute!!
