Food and Fun

We are finally getting max to eat some meat. Very little mind you, but some! He will eat a chicken nugget, but not chicken fingers, and chicken soup or chicken baby food, but not very tiny chicken that is in the soup or baby food. He is starting to learn to feed himself, which he had NO clue how to do before. He's not the best at it yet, but he is starting to get the hang of it. His fav. thing to eat is still rice cereal. He could really care less about TV. He will watch maybe five mins at a time, and thats if there is singing or dancing involved. He watched Nemo for all of five seconds, then me and Alan watched the rest (what can I say, its a funny movie!) while he played with his trucks. He loves helping around the house, if he sees me doing anything, he wants in on it. He helps put his toys away (cross fingers this will stick), helps picks up things when they are dropped, and loves to help mommie put things in her cart at the store.

We are so blessed with this little boy, he is SO much fun. He is such a clown. We have been very lucky so far with him not being sick at all, and adapting to our life style rather quickly. He grieved the first few days, but seems to know that we our his mommie and daddy. He has even started giving Alan hugs. He runs up to me wants hugs thru out the day.

He has slept thru the night the past couple of nights. Yesterday we let him take a nap, it lasted about 2hrs, and he woke up only a little cranky, but not as bad as he usually is. Today his nap lasted about 2hrs 15mins, and he woke up a happy boy, giggles and all, and is asleep now at 9pm. I know some of you might not want this much detail, but this is also a bit of a journal for me, so bare with me :-) Here are some pics from the past couple of days. ENJOY.

Here he is in the pool. He LOVES the pool, he doesn't look happy in the picture because he wasn't fond of all the stuff mommie put on him. He would much rather be on mom's hip splashing with both hands (which he did shortly after this pic)

Enjoying some food with his spoon, yes it is upsidedown, but, hes only been doing this two days now!

Watching cartoons just long enough for Dad to take a pic in the chair that he used when he was Max's age!
