Chinese Moon Festival and a ride in the V-100!

Last night we went to the Chinese Moon Festival (the Chinese Thanksgiving). It took place at a family farm where they sell pumpkins, have hay rides, and farm animals. The Families with Children from China had some events going on as well, dancing, moon pies, selling items, and a fire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. We meet up with our good friends Teresa and Lou Ellen (as well as their kiddo's).

Here is the gang! Couldn't get them all together until after dark (sorry Teresa, all the pictures I had, Carson was making really weird faces!)

Max, Carson, and Molly looking sticky from the marshmallows

Here is a great shot of us on the hay ride!

And here is a video of the kids running around the fire having a blast... and of Molly being SUPER cute!!

Today, we took the V-100 out for a drive! It was such a nice day, and we haven't had it out much this year.
We are on our way to get some pie at Frisch's!

Max is very "anti-photo" these days! He wants to smile less and less for the camera!

Here he was just to busy eating pie to smile...

But... finally after some pie, he smiled for me!

Dad and Max by the V-100!

Then it was Mom's (my) turn to drive the V-100 for the first time!! It is a very weird thing to drive, but fun to be so big!

Another shot of me and Max...

Here are a few pictures taken a week or so ago, of Max and Dad being silly!

Well, well...I am THOROUGHLY impressed at how quickly you got those Autumn Moon Festival pics posted! Making ME look like a slacker ain't easy, but you did it!!

Don't worry about the Carson-making-weird-faces thing...that's pretty normal for him!

We had so much fun with you guys last night. Looking forward to our turn in the V-100!!
